Kettering General Hospital – Maxillo-Facial Unit Complete

GSSllp have a long history with Kettering General Hospital, and so far this year we have completed 3 projects on site. These projects include work on the Frank Radcliffe Fracture Clinic and the relocation of the Dermatology unit to Prospect House.

We are now proud to have also completed Phase 2 of the works to the new Maxillo-Facial Unit at the Hospital, where we were appointed as Quantity Surveyors. The works provide much improved office and staff welfare facilities for those working within the unit, which had its official opening on Friday, 7th June 2019.

Within the Maxillo-Facial unit, they are able to treat a range of conditions, including facial injuries, head and neck cancers, facial deformities, cysts, mouth ulcers and infections. The facilities that had not been changed for 41 years, have now been updated to allow for 2 dedicated surgical suites, rather than the 1 that was previously there, meaning that a greater number of patients will be able to be seen by staff in the department.
